My husband and I had a beautiful surprise gift sent to us from his darling daughter in London England. She had made arrangements for us to have a romantic evening at the Melting Pot located in downtown Ocala on the square.
She had heard me mention before how I wanted to eat there but never seemed to make time so, she helped us make time as we had a Wednesday night out down “Lovers Lane!”
We had not been in the Melting Pot before so this was a true adventure for us both. When we entred we were greeting with a most friendly hostess that seemed to be expecting us. She took us to an area they call “Lovers Lane” which ended with a private booth built for two!
The table had a balloon bouquet attached to a brick of boxed chocolate and a bottle of champagne (non-alcoholic) along with a lovely card sending us good wishes from Karen, Kirsty and Kalein in London!
NOTE: my necklace and blouse were purchased on eBay supporting nonprofits. Necklace provided by: Bienlein Design Finds Blouse provided by: Flint Hills Clothing and Treasures
We started off with the Cheese Fondue. It came with apples, bread and veggies to dip in the cheese.
Jimmy had the Chef and I had the California salad. Both of them were delicious!
Twin lobsters, shrimp, bratwurst, steak. chicken and lobster raviolis!
It came with some huge mushrooms that I especially loved. Potato for the Irish man and broccoli!
There were several types of dipping sauces as well. I especially liked the sweet and sour sauce and the honey mustered.
Strawberries, bananas, marshmallows, rice krispie squares and the brownie plus cheesecake was to die for!
This was the ultimate ending to a beautiful night out!
One suggestion I can make is to bring a spatula so that you can get that last drop from the pot! ((smiles))

That was a feast fit for King James and Queen Danna for sure! Now, I am going to put that on my wish list for our next celebration. I have never been to a Melting Pot but heard it is fabulous and now I see that it is. Mercy!
