Lunch at Horse and Hounds

We enjoyed an early Mother’s day celebration today!

My husband treated my Aunt Sally and myself to a lovely lunch at Horse and Hounds! I am on a mission to try all the different foods at this restaurant as it is one of my favorites in Ocala.We did notice that the menu has been updated too!

Today I tried the Tuna Melt with Fresh Fruit:

Aunt Sally had the Chicken Ranch Wrap but she had them replace the lettuce with spinach. She also requested Honey Mustard dip to replace the Ranch dip. The ranch sauce was left on the wrap inside at her request! Custom style this was with a side of coleslaw! Which she raves about too btw!

Jimmy had his all time favorite ” Bangers and Mash” He absolutely loves this dish at Horse and Hounds! Personally I don’t care for the gravy but he adores it!

Our lovely waitress Susan treated us to some fresh hot bread while we waited AND since today is Cinco De Mayo she also brought out some very tasty chips with fresh made salsa. (The menu for the evening celebration looked VERY tasty too, you may want to give them a call if you are looking for a place to celebrate tonight)
