The title of this review may have you thinking that I’ve misspelled the word “cabbage” or it may have you thinking that I’ve just harvested a new crop from my garden and don’t know how to spell. So, I don’t want to keep you guessing , the truth is, Kabbage is spelled with the letter K and is trademarked with a company called: Kabbage.com. In fact, this company has recently been awarded a patent :
Atlanta, GA – Aug. 17, 2011 – Kabbage, Inc. has been awarded its first patent, U.S. Patent No. 7,983,951, by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
This is a huge accomplishment by this “little” company that is growing by leaps and bounds. As a fellow business owner myself of PowerSellingMom.com Inc. I can appreciate watching a company business branch out and expand. Kabbage is my Idol because they are living the “American Dream” and the best part, they not only live the dream, they help others live their dreams too!
How you ask? This company provides a unique style of online lending. I’ve seen it for myself. They have provided the funds to my fellow eBay friends to grow their online business. I’ve witnessed struggling sellers take their career to the next level and advance further into being self-employed and working from home.
Kabbage just announced they have recently received additional funding to provide even more opportunity for online sellers outside of eBay. Such as: Amazon and Yahoo with more exciting news soon to be released.
THIS IS THE COMPANY TO WATCH! I know I will be keeping an eye on them because I find it very exciting to see success. Plus I feel that if I keep surrounding myself with successful people, it will help keep my business on the path to success as well. But that is another review topic!
Press release reads: Atlanta, GA – Aug. 17, 2011 – Kabbage, Inc., a provider of working capital for online merchants, today announced it has secured $17 million in Series B funding, led by Mohr Davidow Ventures. Existing investors participating in the round include BlueRun Ventures, David Bonderman, founder of TPG Capital, Warren Stephens, CEO of Stephens Inc., and the UPS Strategic Enterprise Fund. Several individuals also participated in the round including Jim McKelvey, co-founder of Square. Kabbage will use this funding to pursue additional marketplaces, distribution relationships, new financial products and international expansion.
Bottom Line; I highly recommend this company and I am convinced they truly care about their customers. Learn more by visiting Kabbage.com

July 22 was our 7 year wedding anniversary (yes I thought it was 6 but I was wrong.. lol) Anyhow, we had to conduct some business in Orlando so we ended up having a late lunch/early dinner at the Orlando Ale House, also known as Miller’s Ale House, Hiawassee location!
My husband ordered a Porterhouse Steak:

Porterhouse Steak
He was very pleased with his meal!
I was excited to order the Seafood Lobster and Clam bake:

Lobster and Clam Bake
And, unfortunately, I was not happy with my meal. The crab meat was not done and the lobster was over-cooked. The manager came out to speak with me as well as the kitchen manager and I must say I was treated very well!
After a long review of the menu I decided to go with the coconut shrimp meal:

Coconut Shrimp
And, I was in heaven! The flavor was amazing! The plum sauce was to die for!
It turned out to be an awesome time! The staff was extremely kind as they went above and beyond to make our meal a success! I can highly recommend this Miller’s Ale House!

This dog beach is the coolest of the cool “hot spots” for all kinds of dogs! No matter the age of your dog, they will love the thrill of swimming in the ocean and hanging out on the beach!
Let the pooches take a walk on the wild side at Fort Desoto Dog Beach!
Located in St. Petersburg Florida I highly recommend!Pack a lunch, bring the doggie treats and load up the family for a day of fun in the sun! Sea shell hunting and watching the boats, jet skis and all the classic water sports! We even saw a dog riding on a jet ski!

We met another dog family that was camping in a camper at the local campground on the beach. With water hook-up they were paying $40.00 a day for a beach view! Not bad!
Fort Desoto has a lot to offer including boat launches, picnic areas, beach with no dogs allowed and much more. Visit the website at:
