Wholesale Marbles
Have you lost your marbles? If so, I found some great deals on wholesale marbles.
Some are sold in box lots and others are rare, hard to find types being sold at wholesale prices. I also noticed during my research that belly button rings were falling into this category. I thought it was interesting!
Well, until the day arrives I can wear a bikini I have no use for a belly button ring looking like a marble. lol
About 8 years ago I had a cigar box loaded with marbles my dad gave me that came from his Grandfather’s estate. My Great Grandfather “Harry Smith” RIP.
Dad said “Put them on eBay and we will split the money!” Oh Joy I thought cause I would love it when he gave me cool stuff to sell.
Anyhow, I learned tons about marbles. Dad and I made a few bucks too while we learned about this amazing area of collecting. I had no clue that marbles were so highly collectible.
To help me list them on eBay properly, I bought a a great book by
ROBERT BLOCK. It had fantastic detailed photos that allowed me to identify each marble in detail. Because of this I was able to list them on eBay properly and make more money because of giving the marbles the proper name.
I can remember playing marbles myself and competing with the boys in the neighborhood. Too bad I lost my marbles since then! ((winks))
I remember having a few very cool cat eyes and a big silver ball marble we called a: “Steelie.” At the time it was a fun adventure to play marbles!
