“Content is King” as the saying goes and it is so true. As I’ve attended different seminars and blogging conventions, they stress the fact on the importance of “feeding” your blog. Filling it up with current content. Keeping it fresh and clean. Short and sweet is nice sometimes too as long as “something” is being posted on a regular basis. Some may argue with this fact on the importance of daily blog posts vs weekly blog posts but the fact remains, most of us blog when we have time!
Blog challenges can be a great motivation. Participation as a group, with friends or by yourself is okay too. The main thing is to get pumped, get challenged and get blogging!
Today I am participating with a group. Our goal is to post five times in one day. We can actually blog six times if we dare to take advantage of the “bonus round.” Adding that 6th blog post in one day can be a challenge in itself but today I am up for the challenge and claiming my participation in this months Virtual Online Learning blog challenge that takes place the 30th of every month. I admit I don’t participate in it every month and not every member does but this month, here I am blogging away as part of this challenge because my blog can use some content.
COME JOIN ME!
This month we are giving it a try to open it up to the public to see if we can get more people to participate. We would love to have you join us IF you dare for this months BLOG challenge! Learn more by visiting the blog with the rules posted at: http://virtualonlinelearning.blogspot.com/2012/04/get-challenged-and-start-blogging.html
Now, I’m very pleased with myself, I have my first post ready and I hope to see more of you climbing on board to join us for this months blogging challenge! Can you post 5 times today? AND if you are participating, be sure to leave a comment here with a link to your blog so I can go take a look and also be sure to tweet it with the hashtag #volm so it will show up on our website and get many re-tweets from other members. Enjoy the free exposure for your blog and Happy blogging!
