Selling Hull and McCoy Pottery on eBay

Hull on the Left, McCoy on the Right

This brown Pottery looks very much alike but one is made by Hull and the other is made by McCoy. They seem identical with the same glaze, trim and made in the USA only by two different companies.

The sold prices are not as high as they used to be, just like with everything else I guess but I did discover the highest selling items sold on eBay in the last 90 days in the brown DRIP pattern were:

• Hull Canister Set sold on September 10, 2011 for $305.50 in a 5 day auction with the opening bid at $99.99(  eBay Item: 250887183767 )

• Hull House and Garden Brown Drip Retailers Display Sign, which is VERY rare sold on September 4, 2011 for $305.00 as a 7 day auction, opening bid was $29.99 (eBay Item number: 110736570410 )

• Hull Gingerbread Man cup and bowl sold for $105.00 as a buy it now on August 9, 2011 (eBay Item number: 300568091647

The research I’ve been doing today has taught me that HULL in this pattern sells better than McCoy.

The top three highest price McCoy I found in the brown drip pattern are:

McCoy Pitcher and Bowl set sold on August 16, 2011 for $63.65 as a buy-it-now and their original asking price was $95.00 (eBay Item number: 320662363709

McCoy Berry and Leaves Lamp sold on September 7, 2011 listed as an auction with a starting price of $49.99 but someone did a buy-it-now at $59.99 eBay Item number: 200650398377 )

A 27 Piece set of Misc McCoy items from this pattern only sold for $53.00 in a 7 day auction starting at $50.00 BUT I also noticed they did not list it in the McCoy category which may of made a difference ( eBay Item number: 150655997925 )
