Purchasing stamps online has sure evolved over the years. I can actually remember when Stamps.com first became available with their amazing online service that actually saved me a lot of time and frustration that I used to experience with many post office hassles as an early eBay seller. Saving time online is an important topic I like to stress when I’m giving live and local presentations. Stamps.com’s new and improved services have been added to my list of time saving benefits. With the simple push of a “refresh” button I can upload all of the items waiting on my eBay dashboard for shipping. And they don’t only provide this service for eBay. All of my multi-channel, selling, ecommerce friends will be happy to know this time saving service is also available to the sellers selling on Amazon, Etsy and other types of shopping cart websites. Bottom line is I am saving 87 cents per item! You may think this is not much BUT it sure adds up when I am shipping many CD’s or lightweight items. This type of shipping is also perfect for those “Loss Leader” sale items. Which simply means, items listed for promotional purposes only, not expecting high profits. It helps to keep the postage low. I pay no monthly fee using Stamps.com for my eBay shipping as an eBay seller. There are no charges for eBay sellers to print labels. You only pay for the postage.
However, for those ready to take it up to another level of selling I can recommend the multichannel sellers to sign up for the low monthly fee of $15.99 which will pull in and mange all accounts under one Stamps.com dashboard.
