Buy Stamps Online

Purchasing stamps online has sure evolved over the years. I can actually remember when Stamps.com first became available with their amazing online service that actually saved me a lot of time and frustration that I used to experience with many post office hassles as an early eBay seller. I was extremely grateful for this company when I first started to use them back in 1999 and I am still thankful for them today. Not only have they improved their services, they have also united with the eBay community.

A representative from Stamps.com can be found at most eBay events and they are always ready to answer questions and even share a few give-a-ways now and then too.

They have a “Free White Paper” section of their website . I suggest bookmarking the page : Free White Papers and enjoy the future editions coming soon. Including:

  • Simple Secrets of Small Business Success

  • USPS Priority Mail Rate Guide

  • Holiday Shipping Survival Guide

Saving time online is an important topic I like to stress when I’m giving live and local presentations. Stamps.com’s new and improved services have been added to my list of time saving benefits. With the simple push of a “refresh” button I can upload all of the items waiting on my eBay dashboard for shipping. And they don’t only provide this service for eBay. All of my multi-channel, selling, ecommerce friends will be happy to know this time saving service is also available to the sellers selling on Amazon, Etsy and other types of shopping cart websites. Now all of these formats for shipping can be managed from one simple Stamps.com account! AWESOME PERK!

For me personally, Stamps.com saves me money for my first class shipping items that do not require a tracking number. I can print out a one ounce, first class label for only 88cents on Stamps.com vs at eBay even with a shipping discount, the same 1st class, 1 ounce package will cost me $1.75. Bottom line is I am saving 87 cents per item! You may think this is not much BUT it sure adds up when I am shipping many CD’s or lightweight items. This type of shipping is also perfect for those “Loss Leader” sale items. Which simply means, items listed for promotional purposes only, not expecting high profits. It helps to keep the postage low. I pay no monthly fee using Stamps.com for my eBay shipping as an eBay seller. There are no charges for eBay sellers to print labels. You only pay for the postage.

However, for those ready to take it up to another level of selling I can recommend the multichannel sellers to sign up for the low monthly fee of $15.99 which will pull in and mange all accounts under one Stamps.com dashboard.

Sign up today and receive a FREE digital scale that actually plugs into your computer and will upload the weight directly into your account for you. They will also send you a packet of “starter” blank stickers to print your own postage on!

My personal experience using Stamps.com has been nothing but good experiences so I can highly recommend them. If you would like to share your expereinces here, would love to hear from you. Feel free to leave a comment or happy to answer any questions if you have them.

    Frances Bradley I
use it for international shipping all time. I don’t pay a penny for it
except for the shipping. I never load anything into the account unless I
need to ship. Love it and it could not be more economical, convenient,
and easy for me. Bonus: Check a box and Stamps.com will send an
email to your customer informing them their package has shipped. Great
for effortless communication and improving DSR’s.

I love the free Stamps app for eBay sellers.   I use it regularly to print postage for shipment of CDs, which cost $.88 for shipping without delivery confirmation.   Love that it updates directly to eBay and also auto emails my customers.   Couldn’t be happier with this app!
