Most garage sales in our area run Thursday through Saturday with the hot church sales on Saturdays. We’ve gotten some great buys this weekend actually! My husband hit the jackpot on Friday and Saturday as I stayed home but today I went out for the Temple B’nai Darom garage sale. I do admit their prices were a bit higher then most as I paid $5.00 for a popcorn popper yet only two bucks for a case of eight track tapes and a large box of toys I can’t wait to sort through later but for now, I just wanted to share a tip with you.
When searching the net and local papers for garage sales, don’t forget to check with the Jewish Temples and other religions that may have sales on Sundays. While many others are in their church of choice on Sunday, you may just fine an amazing deal!
