You won’t believe my incredible time on my 6-night, 7-day Virgin Cruise in April! It all started in the vibrant city of Miami, and from the moment we set sail, I knew this would be a lifetime trip.
Day 1: Departure from Miami
We kicked off our adventure from Miami, and let me tell you, the energy on board was electric! The ship itself was a masterpiece, with stunning design and top-notch amenities. We spent the first day exploring every nook and cranny, and the excitement kept building.
Pajama Party
The first night on the ship was an entertaining Pajama Party on the top deck! We had so much fun celebrating and dancing in our pajamas. They had a few games with fun prizes. It was enjoyable!
Day 2: At Sea Our first full day at sea was pure bliss. Picture this: lounging by the pool, sipping on a cocktail, and soaking in the sun with nothing but endless ocean around us. We pampered ourselves with spa treatments and later enjoyed a mind-blowing Broadway-style show. The talent on this ship was out of this world!
Working Cruise
I took this cruise to explore the ship and learn more about Virgin. It was my first cruise with Virgin, and rather than taking time off work, I worked while on the boat. I attended my List Perfectly meetings and moved items from my draft folder to going live online.
Day 3: Cozumel, Mexico
Initially, we were supposed to stop in Roatán, Honduras, but due to a medical emergency, we headed to Cozumel instead. I have no complaints here—Cozumel was incredible! We explored the island, visited Chankanaab Beach Adventure Park, and savored the most delicious local cuisine. The warmth and charm of Cozumel made it an unforgettable detour.
Day 4: Costa Maya, Mexico
Next stop: Costa Maya! The beaches’ beauty and the Mayan ruins’ rich history left me speechless. We spent the day snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, surrounded by vibrant marine life. It was like swimming in an aquarium; I couldn’t get enough of it!
Scarlet Red Night
The Red Scarlet night was the cherry on top—everyone dressed in red, dancing under the stars to live music and mesmerizing performances. The energy was contagious, and it was a night I’ll never forget!
Day 5: At Sea
Another day at sea I meant more time to indulge in the ship’s fabulous offerings. I tried my hand at a cooking class (who knew I had a knack for it?), and then we learned some cool mixology tricks. The highlight was the pajama party that night—everyone in their comfiest sleepwear, dancing and laughing the night away. It was an absolute blast!
Day 6: Bimini, Bahamas
Virgin’s private beach in Bimini, Bahamas, was our next destination, and it was like stepping into a postcard. The powdery white sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters—it was paradise! We lounged in cabanas, swam to our heart’s content, and played some fun beach games.
Day 7: Return to Miami
As we sailed back to Miami, I couldn’t help but feel a mix of sadness that the journey was ending and immense gratitude for the incredible experiences. Every moment on this cruise was crafted to perfection, from the thrilling destinations to the exceptional onboard entertainment.
