Tips for a Smooth Notarization Appointment

- Don’t Sign Yet! The most important rule of notarization is that I must witness you signing the document. Keep that pen away until I arrive!
- Have Your ID Ready: I am legally required to verify your identity. Please have a valid, government-issued photo ID ready (like a Florida driver’s license or a passport).
- Ensure All Signers Are Present: If the document requires multiple signatures, everyone needs to be there at the same time with their respective IDs.
- Know Your Document: I cannot give legal advice or explain the contents of your documents (unless I’m a licensed attorney, which I am not). Please make sure you understand what you are signing before I arrive.
