Running a business, or just managing a busy life, means your “to-do” list never truly ends. If youโve been following my journey at Power Selling Mom, you know Iโm all about efficiency, community, and finding ways to make life easier for entrepreneurs and families alike. Whether you are sourcing inventory for your eBay store or managing a household, some tasks just canโt be automated. One of those is getting your important documents notarized.
You might know me best for reselling tips and e-commerce education, but Iโve always believed in diversifying how we serve our neighbors. Thatโs why Iโve expanded my reach as a Mobile Notary Public, serving the heart of Southwest Florida. If you are in Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, or the surrounding areas, Iโm bringing the office to you.
Why a Mobile Notary is a Game Changer for You
Weโve all been there. You have a document that needs a seal, but the bank is closed, the local shipping store has a line out the door, or you simply canโt find the time to fight traffic and find a parking spot.
A mobile notary flips the script. Instead of you rearranging your schedule to find a notary, I come to your home, your office, or even your favorite local coffee shop. Itโs professional, itโs convenient, and itโs designed to keep your day moving forward without a hitch.
Serving the Southwest Florida Community
Iโm proud to call this beautiful corner of the world home. My mobile notary services cover a wide range of locations to ensure no one is left stranded with unsigned papers. I am currently hitting the road to serve:
- Punta Gorda: From the historic districts to the waterfront.
- Port Charlotte: Helping residents and small businesses in the heart of Charlotte County.
- Arcadia: Bringing services to our neighbors inland.
- Cleveland: Providing convenient stops for local residents.
- North Port: Supporting the growing community in southern Sarasota County.
- Cape Coral: Making the trip across the bridges to assist with your document needs.
If you are located in any of these areas, you don’t have to worry about the logistics of finding a notary “near me” who actually has an open appointment. You just give me a call, and we set a time that works for you.

More Than Just a Stamp: The Documents I Handle
As a notary, I act as an impartial witness to the signing of important documents. This helps prevent fraud and ensures that everyone signing knows exactly what they are doing. Itโs a position of trust that I take very seriously.
Local small businesses and individuals often need help with:
- Real Estate Documents: Whether you are buying, selling, or refinancing, those closing packages are thick. I can help with deeds, mortgages, and closing affidavits.
- Wills and Trusts: Protecting your familyโs future is vital. Having your estate planning documents properly notarized is a key step in that process.
- Power of Attorney: When you need to designate someone to act on your behalf, the paperwork must be official.
- Medical Directives: Essential for ensuring your healthcare wishes are respected.
- General Business Contracts: From partnership agreements to employment contracts, keeping things legal is good business.
- Automotive Titles: Buying or selling a car privately? I can help ensure the title transfer is handled correctly.
According to the Florida Department of State a notary public is a public officer appointed by the Governor to serve the public. Itโs an honor to hold this commission and use it to support our local economy.
The Power Selling Mom Connection
You might be wondering, “Danna, why the notary business?”
It all comes back to my roots in community service. Through Power Selling Mom, Iโve spent years helping people build their own businesses through reselling. Iโve watched our community grow, and Iโve seen the challenges local business owners face. Sometimes, the “little things”, like getting a document notarized, can be the biggest headache.
Recently, I celebrated a major milestone, turning 65! Itโs a time of reflection and new energy. That milestone inspired me to create my Turning 65 Activity Book to help others entering this new chapter of life engage with one another. It also reinforced my desire to be more active offline in my local Florida community.

Being a mobile notary allows me to step away from the computer, meet my neighbors in Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte face-to-face, and provide a service that is genuinely needed. Itโs just another way Power Selling Mom supports the local business ecosystem.
Efficiency and Modern Tools
Just because Iโm out on the road doesnโt mean Iโve left my love for tech and efficiency behind. In my reselling world, Iโm constantly teaching how AI can streamline your workflow. In fact, if you want to see how I use modern tools to manage my schedule and marketing, you should check out our community at AI for Resellers.
I apply that same “work smarter” mentality to my notary work. I use digital scheduling and efficient routing to make sure Iโm on time and prepared for every appointment. When you hire me, you aren’t just getting a signature; you’re getting someone who understands the value of your time.

Tips for a Smooth Notarization Appointment
To make our meeting as quick and easy as possible, here are a few things to keep in mind:
- Don’t Sign Yet! The most important rule of notarization is that I must witness you signing the document. Keep that pen away until I arrive!
- Have Your ID Ready: I am legally required to verify your identity. Please have a valid, government-issued photo ID ready (like a Florida driver’s license or a passport).
- Ensure All Signers Are Present: If the document requires multiple signatures, everyone needs to be there at the same time with their respective IDs.
- Know Your Document: I cannot give legal advice or explain the contents of your documents (unless I’m a licensed attorney, which I am not). Please make sure you understand what you are signing before I arrive.
Supporting Local Small Businesses
If you run a small business in Cape Coral, North Port, or any of our neighboring towns, you know that time is money. Why send an employee out to find a notary when you can have one come to your office?
I love working with local entrepreneurs. Whether you are in Punta Gorda consignment or running a high-tech startup, Iโm here to help you cross those administrative hurdles. Itโs all about keeping our local Southwest Florida economy thriving.
